The magic of a Christmas card

One of my fellow Get Digital tutors, Kathy Suddick, was kind enough to send me an e-Christmas card yesterday. As it was an animated snow scene I thought some of my learners at Longhoughton might like to see it.

The card needed some simple mouse skills to activate it - a couple of clicks and drag-and-drop - so it wasn't just a pretty picture - there was a little mouse practice too!

The learners loved the animation, the music and the pretty images. One lady, who'd had a frustrating morning trying to talk to a call-centre went away saying she felt much more cheerful. And a couple of others want to know how they can send cards themselves - so guess what we'll be doing next week!

Many thanks to Kathy for the card. Your kind thought spread a lot of happiness today!
